Jaden's Promise
People Raising Oodles of Money to Inject into Societies Excluded.
So many of us are classed as "societies excluded"; the ill, the poor, the dying, the frightened, the “not quite the norm” in the media’s eyes.
Funny how when tragedy hits we are so supportive, but up until that point if a celebrity hasn’t endorsed it or if it hasn’t been experienced by a reality TV star then no-one gives a sh*t!
Am I lying?
Do you know Sarah in hospital dying of stomach cancer? Or maybe Paul a 12 year old lad suicidal because he is bullied everyday because he wears glasses and hates sports.
Or maybe you know Fabian the German shepherd dog, starving and rotting in a locked garden shed? He makes a great guard dog; He barks at every noise. He won’t for much longer though!
Who cares about the Amazon rain forest I only go to Ibiza for my hols.
Why, when we find out about these tragedies do we have the gall to say "Oh No, if only I had known, I might have been able to do something?"
Why do you HAVE to know in order to do something?
Do you know 100% what is going to happen to you ?
NO!
It’s all very easy to say “If only I had done more!!” or “such a shame he lost the battle, life has been so cruel to him”
Rather than being there at the end should we not have been there at the beginning?
It makes us feel very moral to say "oh that just isn’t fair, they were so lovely" after watching someone on TV that media hated as did half the population and the papers tried to destroy, finally find out they have a fatal illness, are disabled or died.
And "in your eyes" the ugly little fat girl who sings like a diva and has the best personality. Shame she is too fat to be successful.
Who is filling our heads with this sh*t?!
Surely everyone from every walk of life deserves the chance to experience the magic, beauty and colour that living can offer.
For those people with horrendous illnesses, whether it be cancer, depression, MS, ANYTHING that robs us of the chance to flourish and fly with the colours of the wind.
PREVENTION is BETTER than CURE. But a CURE is DARN GOOD and thank god some people are doing what that can to raise awareness of issues and raising money to help find cures! So you and I might have the chance of one!
This website has links to some awesome charities and campaigns that need your support NOW, not just when you find out that your mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, pet or country is badly affected!
Every year my shop will try and raise as much money as possible for 9 different charities. If all I can do is raise £9,000 a year then I am pleased I am doing my part.
As a singer I want to be able to raise money and awareness for other charities close to my heart.
One day as a "nothing" I will show that "nothing" is really quite something!
My dream, apart from helping all I can, is to create a ‘Creative Spirit Centre’. A place with state of the art recording studio, artist workshops and gallery, music rooms, dance and drama studios, writing suites with in house publishing and outlet store so EVERYONE has the opportunity to ‘to be’ successful with awesome universe given talents and abilities, despite not being able to fit into a size 6 dress or having enough hair to have a hoxton fin!
Our Spirit is the home of all our creativity, it is REAL, it is from within and without and as much a part of us as our skin and bones.
To crush this is to crush confidence, self esteem, dreams and life itself.
One day we’ll show ‘em!
Encourage, laugh, believe, love and be proactive.
